Las Cascadas = The Waterfalls!

Lake Llanquihue, we played volleyball for 2 hours before eating...

We made "choripanes"
Mmmm.. de finom!!!

Then we hiked!

It's easier for monkeys to jump from rock to rock, who needs paths?

Getting close!

We're here!

Tat got the closest to the waterfall!

Definitely worth the hike!

Here in Chile, they make bridges with logs!

We definitely traveled in style, first class all the way.
It's a Mercedes, right?

Volcano Osorno was hiding!

September 18th, Chile's Independence Day!

Let the days of partying begin!

People dancing the "cueca", the national dance.

Valentina (in her typical "chinita"dress) and Victoria eating kabobs!

Friends!

We visited Tat's friends who live on a farm in the country.
These guys know how to grill really well, lucky for me, they're monkey friendly!

Theo Gorilla, should we bring this grill home to replace yours?

We're all alike, aren't we?

I'm partial to cute lambs!

This barn is a little too drafty for me!

Meet Rudolfina! I've never been this close to a horse before!
She's really nice!

Tat with her friends, the Murillos at the rodeo!

The cowboys "huashos" getting really to play with cows!

Santiago de Chile!

The metro, I can get pretty packed, but there's lots of bars to swing from!

Cerro Santa Lucia
It's amazingly beautiful!

La Moneda, it's like the chilean White House.
It's fenced off because they were preparing for the Independence Day show.
Tat's life lesson for the day: You can find a piece of home anywhere you go!

September 11th, watching National Geographic programs.

I like chilean monkys too!

Special Events!

Baby Noelia's blessing at church. This lil monkey has many people who love her!

This is Tat's Bolivan friend, Natali Bustos.
She said I was cute, I think she's pretty too!

Chileans rock!

I give 5 bananas for an amazing job well done!
This picture was taken as the second miner was preparing to get into the capsule.
We're so happy that these men can return to their families! Everybody is really happy about it here in Chile!

Meet Noelia!

This is Noelia Bravo.
She's 3 months old now!
It's pretty fun to be with another baby, but we sure do miss our Lorent monkey.
I hope he knows we think about him everyday.
Especially when we listen to the Baby Einstein MP3 player.

Concepcion- Pt 2

This is Ariel and I with a new type of ice cream! The Nestle monkey sure does look strange!

This is another building they're taking down.

Another apartment building with damage. The residents still haven't been permitted inside to find their things.

This is a famous painting in the University of Concepcion.
