Concepcion- Pt 2

This is Ariel and I with a new type of ice cream! The Nestle monkey sure does look strange!

This is another building they're taking down.

Another apartment building with damage. The residents still haven't been permitted inside to find their things.

This is a famous painting in the University of Concepcion.

Concepcion- Pt 1

After getting to Santiago, we travelled to Concepcion! It's famous now for the earthquake that happened in Feburary of this year. Now it's been over 6 months, the city has been cleaned up a lot, but there's still damage. Here's some of the sites of the Earthquake Tour, Tat's friend Ariel was our guide.

This is probably one of the most famous buildings that was shown on the news around the world. The two buildings behind it are the same as the one that fell, but they're still standing.

This is the building on O'Higgins street. As you can see, the bottom half is fine, the top half had so much damage because they decided to build without a necessary pilar in order to have more space in a gymnasium.

The Trip

This is RDU. It's the airport in my city! Tat told me it would take me a long time swinging tree to tree to get to Chile, so I flew instead.

All buckled up, ready to take off!

Airplane food for dinner. Where are the bananas?!

Here I am in the airport in Panama City! It was pretty cool.

Introduction

Hello!
I'm The Curious Organic Monkey! I was made in China, but I live in the United States with my family, The McCormicks! I belong to a very little man named Lorent. There are an awful lot of monkeys in my house, we are all very curious. When I heard that our friend Tat was going to Chile, I decided to hop on her back and enjoy the ride too!
I don't know if my family realizes that I'm gone, but Daddy Gorilla knew that I was curious about South America. This is blog about my adventures!
Enjoy!
